Ready-made decorative coating based on high quality lime and various mineral fillers. This coating allows you to achieve an imitation of natural stone and rocky rocks. Perfect for any interior.

The ART STONE product line includes a natural beige base layer with various colored mineral granules and ART PASTE, a paste-like mixture with natural fillers that enhance the authentic effect.

These pastes are designed to create unique artistic coatings and are used in complex signature techniques. ART PASTE is available in five types: SEA SHELL – a paste based on natural sea shell, ROSSO VERONA – its main filler is mineral chips in terracotta shades, NERO PORTORO – with mineral chips in anthracite shades, VETRO – contains added glass particles and crushed glass, GRAND MIX – its special feature is a blend of various mineral and colored chips.

Types of basics:

It is used for decorative finishing of surfaces made of gypsum plaster, cement plaster, lime-cement plaster, brick, concrete, drywall fiber cement boards.

Surface preparation:

The surface must be solid, dry, and free from efflorescence, dust, dirt, oil and grease. Previously painted surfaces should be cleaned of old flaking material and should be cleaned by sandpaper.
Places affected by mold or moss must be thoroughly cleaned mechanically and treated with BIOZIDGRUND primer (TM "ELF") or other special means. On the prepared surface impregnated with strengthening primer VINILGRUND D 14 (TM "Elf"), apply quartz primer QUARTZ PRIMER, tinted in the required color, or QUARTZ PRIMER NERO, depending on the selected application technique and the desired pattern. Wait until it dries completely.

Execution of works:

Stir the ART STONE base thoroughly before application. If necessary, add dye, according to the color card in the catalog, or use a computer tinting system. Stir again thoroughly. Depending on the base, up to 10% water can be added.
The ART STONE decorative coating is applied using the same techniques as for the decorative coatings TOSCANA, GROTTO and TRAVERTINO STYLE.
To enhance the natural effect, as well as to obtain creative and non-standard coatings, you should combine the ART STONE base with the ART PASTE - both deep into the material and over the applied layer, depending on the desired effect. Tinting ART STONE base in different shades allows you to get an unlimited number of possibilities. The effect can be accentuated and varied by using natural additives such as DECOR CHIPS, DECOR FLAKES and GRANULES.

After ART STONE has completely dried (24 hours after the application of the last layer), it is recommended to treat the surface with an electro-grinding tool, thus revealing many of the natural ingredients hidden in the mass of the product. The depth and intensity of processing is at the discretion of the master.
Before applying a protective and decorative layer, it is possible to treat the surface with VINILGRUND D 14 (TM "ELF") to prevent the occurrence of joining spots.

It is recommended to use a variety of finishing materials as a protective and decorative layer: DECOR WAX, DECOR WAX TOSCANA, DECOR WAX MURANO, DECOR WAX MURANO AQUA or VINTAGE.
